Code Enforcement, Planning & Zoning Board

Here you can submit an application for Code Enforcement (building permit, complaint, driveway permit, fire alarm renewals & short-term rentals), Planning Board (subdivision, lot line adjustment, site plan, logging and special use permits) and Zoning Board (area & use variances) using the options provided.

Short-Term Rentals

Short-Term Rental Permit

A permit is required whenever a dwelling unit is to be used as a short-term rental. A short-term rental is a furnished house or apartment or room or any residence containing or not containing a kitchen, where one or more rooms is rented for fewer than 31 consecutive days.

Any short-term rental in existence prior to the enactment of the Short-Term Rental Local Law of 2025, must comply with all rules and regulations contained herein within 90 days.


All fields with a RED* are required fields.

Instructions for Filing

  1. Read Local Law 03-2025 – Short-Term Rentals.
  2. Each subject parcel must contain the tax map number.
  3. All owners with representatives must have a NOTARIZED letter giving permission to the representative to handle the project. See Owner Consent Form.
  4. Digital Copy: A pdf of all survey maps, site plans or drawings must be attached to this online application.
  5. Please have a contact phone number for the day and or night.
  6. All materials must be submitted by at least 3pm, 15 days prior to the scheduled meeting.
  7. Payment for any application fee needs to be dropped off to the Code Enforcement Office. See Fee Schedule.
